PPG announces 2008 show truck appearance schedule

STRONGSVILLE, Ohio, March 31, 2008 – PPG Industries’ (NYSE: PPG) automotive refinish business has announced the 2008 appearance schedule for its Vibrance Collection coatings show truck. The 75-foot tractor-trailer rig, custom painted in Vibrance Collection coatings by PPG, will cross the country through November, making 24 stops along the way at truck, car and hot rod shows and events.

The truck is a 2007 Freightliner Coronado driven by PPG driver Chad Hook, with traffic-stopping graphics designed by Larry Wood, chief designer for Hot Wheels®, a Mattel, Inc., brand. The paint was applied by an 18-person crew from PPG’s refinish training, product marketing and color technical teams.
