AMEFO stands for Africa, Middle East & French Overseas, consists of the following countries: Cameroon -Ivory Coast - Gabon - Senegal - Nigeria - South Africa - Martinique - Guadeloupe - French Guyan - Reunion Island- Suriname - New Caledonia - Tahiti- Saudi Arabia - Egypt -Qatar - UAE - Algeria- Tunisia - Export countries.
It is a real multicultural and international Region. As a result, AMEFO has a global multibusiness strategy. AMEFO
therefore is composed of 3 operational areas: Africa, French Overseas and Suriname, South Africa and Middle-East.
 
All affiliates in French Overseas have been entirely created with one exception: Suriname.The main activity is architectural coatings with the Seigneurie brand. Through our 30 Decorating Centres and independent distributors, we have a leadership position in most of the countries with the AC brands Seigneurie, Eureka, Peintures Gauthier, Ripolin, Sigma and Freitag, Sigma Coatings, Autocolor, Autolux and Duco in PMC.

In Africa, Seigneurie enjoys strong brand awareness in CEP (Compagnie Equatoriale de Peintures), GPL (Gabonaise de Peintures et Laques), IPL (Ivoirienne de Peintures et Laques) and LSA (La Seigneurie Afrique), which was established in 1951 and is the eldest affiliate in Africa.

We are also operating in PMC (Protective and Marine Coatings) through the brand Sigma Coatings and in car refinish with the brands Autocolor, Autolux and Duco. Our African affiliates offer services based on “Customer Experience” and benefit from an integrated network of 15 decorative centers in Ivory Coast and Senegal.

NEWS

PPG sets up in Algiers and sells Architectural and anticorrosion paints.

Based on the Comptoirs Seigneurie Gauthier concept, the affiliate PPG Algérie " Peintures & Revêtements" sells the brands Seigneurie and Guittet for Architectural, and Freitag for the range « Fer / Sol » as well as Sigma for industrial anticorrosion paints.

Pancrytex: good for the environement

The launch of Pancrytex (which will later replace Pancryl)  lies within the framework of the campaign SAISON SECHE with water based products to respect the environment, then the planet.

La Seigneurie Caraïbes is different from its competitors thanks to its commitment in favor of the environment, and has been the 1st to benefit from the certification 14001 in 2002. This year two water- based paints have been launched: Inotex - first painting range COV “0“, displaying the European Ecolabel– and Premior. La Seigneurie Caraïbes claims it willing to protect the environment.
