PPG “Putting Growth, Leadership, Innovation to Action for PPG China” Sanya Forum

Facing the fierce competitive market, with the prices of raw materials increasing and the demand of mature market decreasing, Mr. Charles E. Bunch, CEO of PPG developed the strategy of “Growth, Leadership, Innovation”. By optimizing resources, and developing the leadership of employees, through innovation, PPG aims to maintain profitable growth. PPG Industries held “Putting Growth, Leadership, Innovation to Action for PPG China” on Dec 11th 2006 in Sanya to share the development concepts of PPG and discuss the development trend of the Chinese industry, and meanwhile to initiate thinking of business pattern innovation inspired by PPG’s innovative pattern. Participants include representatives from the National Development and Reform Commission, business media, and PPG Asia Pacific leadership team including Viktor R. Sekmakas, Vice President of PPG Asia Pacific, Cathy Yan, Director of Government Affairs and Business Development and general managers of seven of PPG’s Asia Pacific business units.
