Cabin Comfort created with Alteos interactive window systems by PPG

PARIS, June 13, 2009 – CABIN COMFORT created with Alteos interactive window systems by PPG Industries’ aerospace transparencies business can be experienced by Paris Air Show visitors with this full-scale working demonstration at the PPG Aerospace display at Hall 2B, Stand D57.

PPG Aerospace’s Ryan Aspy, market development manager for transparencies, shows Alteos interactive window systems in varying states of dark, intermediate and clear that demonstrate passengers’ ability to control their operation to select the light transmittance of their choosing. Paris Air Show visitors enter the demonstration unit to see the electrochromic systems firsthand. The cabin windows also have PPG’s developmental solar-reflective coating technology for reducing interior heat load to enhance passenger and crew comfort and lower the air-conditioning load to lower operating costs.

The International Paris Air Show is June 15-21 at Le Bourget Exhibition Centre.
