PittChar® LV Coating

Pitt-Char LV Fire Protective Coating is a Lower Viscosity Version of Pitt Char XP Coating

Both Pitt-Char XP and Pitt-Char LV are the only flexible intumescent coatings on the market which provides both maximum fire and corrosion protection for offshore, petrochemical, and light industrial/commercial facilities.

The lower viscosity of Pitt-Char LV coating affords itself to a variety of application methods including extrusion, filament winding, open and closed molding.

Intended Use: to provide fire protection to a variety of materials including structural steel, fiberglass reinforced composites, ESV's (emergency shutdown valves), cable trays and junction boxes.

	Bottom:The gray pipes are Ameron Fiberglass Pipes coated with Pitt-Char LV. In the event of a fire, the Pitt-Char LV protects pipes until water rushes through the system to cool the equipment.
