Quality glazing projects involve more than just quality glass. PPG Certified Fabricator Programs (PPG/CFPs) serve nearly every facet of the global glass business market with quality products, at fair prices, delivering faster than the competition.

To support PPG Certified Fabricators and their customers, PPG has developed two interactive on-line tools that are designed to help architects, building owners and glazing contractors identify the best products for their projects.

The first, Energy Modeling of Architectural Glazings, allows building professionals to measure and compare the real energy costs associated with specific architectural glazings according to the U.S. Department of Energy’s most sophisticated energy modeling software.

The second allows specifiers to conduct a Thermal Stress Analysis for a wide variety of insulating glass units combinations based on input provided by the specifier.

Certified Fabricator Network

NEW PPG Certified Entrance and Interior Fabricator Program

PPG's Certified Entrance and Interior Fabricator Program (PPG/CEIF) is an extension of the popular PPG Certified Fabricator Program (PPG/CFP). Members of the PPG/CEIF Program form a nationwide network of specialty glass fabricators who have been certified to fabricate PPG’s Extra Heavy Starphire® glass, heavy PPG clear glass, and heavy PPG tinted glass for a variety of entrance and interior applications.

PPG Certified Fabricator Program

Subject to comprehensive audits to afford the highest quality products, PPG's Certified Fabricator Program (PPG/CFP) involves a select group of Glass Fabricators. These program members participate in a rigorous training program on the processing of all of PPG's sophisticated glass products, including high-performance coated glasses such as the growing family of Solarban® Solar Control Low-E glasses, and Sungate® Passive Low-E glasses.

PPG’s Certified Laminator program incorporates the same key elements as the renowned Fabricator Program but with emphasis on lamination of PPG’s Solarban® Solar Control Low-E glass. Combining our glass laminator members’ extensive knowledge and the exceptional performance of Solarban Solar Control glasses creates the perfect solution when laminated glass is required.

PPG International Certified Fabricator Program

PPG’s highly successful Certified Fabricator Program is now available to glass fabricators around the world.

The PPG/ICFP Program incorporates the same rigorous standards that are the backbone of the North American Certified Fabricator Program into a program that is applicable anywhere in the world. The foundation of our program world class glass process training, annual fabrication audits by trained PPG engineers, and PPG’s Solarban Solar Control Low-E glass products are the foundation of the International Program.

The PPG/ICLP Program is your worldwide supplier of laminated solar control low-e glass featuring Solarban 60 Solar Control glass.

PPG Mexico Certified Fabricator Program

PPG’s Mexico Certified Fabricator Program (PPG/MCFP) consists of a group of glass fabricators located in Mexico who are fully capable of processing PPG glass products. Each member must annually successfully complete extensive training and an annual fabrication audit designed to ensure each member can process all of PPG’s glass products, including Solarban® Solar Control Low-E glasses. The comprehensive audits help to ensure PPG fabricated glass products are of consistent commercial quality.

PPG Mexico Certified Commercial Window Fabricator Program

PPG’s Mexico Certified Commercial Window Fabricator Program (PPG/MCCWF) provides architects and building owners all the benefits of PPG’s high-performance glass in a manufactured window. Each member is trained to process all of PPG’s glass products and through PPG’s audit process ensures each member is capable of providing regional fabricated commercial quality high performance glass in their window system.
