PPG Certified Fabricator Program
Membership Standards

Why Use PPG Certified Fabricator Program Members? Because members of the PPG Certified Fabricator Network are committed to delivering high quality PPG architectural glass products at a fair price, faster than the competition. How are they able to mange this? We owe it all to two factors: maintaining rigorous auditing standards and gearing every program to making sure you get the right glass, right away.

More Locations
What began as a single program in the United States has grown dramatically in recent years. Currently, the PPG Certified Fabricator Program has certified fabricators strategically located throughout the United States, Mexico and around the world to help you obtain the high performance PPG glass products you need for your projects no matter where they’re located.

Comprehensive Training and Annual Audits
Members of the PPG Certified Fabricator Programs are some of the most trusted glass fabricators in the industry. To qualify for membership in the PPG Certified Fabricator Program, members must participate in a comprehensive training program and commit themselves to meeting established PPG standards that cover virtually every aspect of their fabrication business, from glass processing and fabrication to packaging and shipping. Then, on an annual basis, they also must successfully complete a comprehensive fabrication audit to qualify for recertification.

Reliability
From the beginning, reliability has been a big reason customers count on their local, audited PPG Certified Fabricator. Backed by PPG experience, knowledge and worldwide resources, PPG Certified Fabricators enable you to obtain the fabricated glass products you need to service fast-track construction projects without compromising quality, performance or aesthetics. In addition, PPG Certified Fabricators can provide:

  • Regional sourcing of high-performance products throughout the U.S. and Canada
  • Improved project dry-in times
  • Reduced lead times on breakage replacements during and after construction

Exclusive Access to High-Performance PPG Glass
When you work with a PPG Certified Fabricator, you also gain exclusive access to the Solarban® family of high-performance, low-e glass, including:

  • Solarban 70XL glass, the industry’s highest performing solar control low-e glass
  • Solarban z50 glass, a stylish tinted glass that performs up to 30 percent better than similarly tinted solar control, low-e glass
  • Solarban 60 glass, the industry’s original clear high-performance solar control, low-e glass
  • Solarban 80 glass, which combines a satiny, steel exterior with exceptional solar control

In addition, you also get accelerated access to specialty products such as Starphire® ultra-clear glass, extra-heavy Starphire glass and Sungate® 500 low-e glass.

Trust
Most important, when you work with a member of the PPG Certified Fabricator Network, you earn the peace of mind that comes from working with trusted, reliable suppliers who are specially trained and audited to translate PPG glass technology into high quality finished glass products. To date, our partners have reliably delivered over 100 million square feet of high performance glass per year. More than anything, those numbers add up to trust. Count on your PPG Certified Fabricator to deliver the glass you need to succeed on any size job.
