Spandrel Glass
Opaci-Coat 300 is a water-based silicon-based coating for coloring and opaquing of glass panels and spandrels. It has advantages over ceramic frit spandrel coatings including a wide range of colors, increased safety features, and no need for high temperature firing. When combined with PPG Starphire Ultra Clear Glass, it offers architects and building owners a vivid palette of spandrel glass solutions with unparalled brightness and color fidelity.
Opaci-Coat 300 has a track record of nearly 20 years in Spandrel Glass Applications. Usage has expanded into internal applications such as painted backsplashes, interior partitions and other interior applications requiring vivid colors and semi-opaque coatings.
