Chopped strands are used mainly to reinforce thermoplastics and thermosets for end uses including automobile panels, under-the-hood applications, lawn and garden appliances, electrical equipment, headlamp settings, and home appliances. Chopped strands are made by chopping continuous dry or wet strands in 3-6 millimeter lengths depending on the type of strand. Other chopped lengths could be possible after consultation.
