Installation Options

We offer a variety of installation options to best suit your particular needs.  See our Tips section or contact one of our specialists or distributors for more detailed information about which may be right for you.

Gravity Return The discharge of the chlorinator is dumped (returned) directly into a vacuum DE filter pit, vacuum sand filter pit, or a surge tank.

Suction Return The discharge of the chlorinator is piped directly into the suction line of the pool re-circulation pump.  This may only be done when the re-circulation pump and filter are above the pool water level.  (Note: Model 3500 cannot be installed in this manner as it cannot maintain a vacuum.)

Pressure Return The discharge of the chlorinator is collected in a small tank that has a float valve to keep the re-injection pump from losing prime.  The discharge from the re-injection pump may be piped to either the re-circulation pump suction or the return line.  The re-injection pump must have sufficient capability for the flow and pressure required.
