PPG offers state-of-the-art substrate protection technologies that maximize vehicle and equipment lifetime, minimize vehicle down time due to maintenance and optimize your return on investment over the vehicle and equipment lifetime. The most advanced coating systems begin with the proper substrate cleaning and pre-treating processes (link to Industrial pretreatment site) followed by cationic epoxy electrodeposition primers.

We also offer specialty products including intumescent fire protective coatings for areas that require fire protection and insulation, durable super abrasion resistant elastomeric coatings for thermal insulation and abrasion resistance on vehicle interior surfaces such as doors and floors and abrasion prone vehicle exterior surfaces such as wheel wells, under carriage, foot steps, equipment storage areas and beds, spray applied sound and vibration damping coatings to limit noise levels in vehicle interiors and dampen vibration from vehicle body structures, and structural reinforcement foams to increase strength and lower weight contributions from structural vehicle components. These products provide performance in strategic areas of the vehicle that require specific performance solutions.
