Compliance Assurance

PPG established a Compliance Assurance Audit program in 1984, at the direction of the Executive Committee, and has proactively managed this program since. Today, PPG’s Blueprint, EHS Policy, and Global Code of Ethics requires compliance with EHS laws and regulations globally, thereby reinforcing the foundation of this internal audit program.

The primary objectives of PPG’s Compliance Assurance Audit Program is to routinely verify EHS compliance at PPG’s global manufacturing locations, report the results to PPG management in a timely manner, and manage the audit follow-up process.

Audit findings are communicated to senior business leaders, as well as the PPG Executive Committee.
