Fund set to help employees recover from disasters

November 10 2005 - The PPG CARE (Concern, Assistance & Relief for Employees) Fund has been developed to enable PPG employees, retirees and friends to help PPG employees affected by declared national disasters, such as those in Evansville, Ind., mentioned above and those in Lake Charles, La., and the Gulf Coast recovering from the devastating impact of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

Employees can make monetary donations that will be matched by the PPG Industries Foundation and distributed on an as-needed basis to PPG associates affected by disasters such as the tornado and hurricanes. Also, PPG friends including retirees, vendors, customers, business partners and members of the general public may make unmatched contributions to the new fund.
