PPG’s Product Introduction Procedures are a core part of our commitment to Product Stewardship, since PPG uses thousands of raw materials in the manufacture of PPG products around the world. Prior to using these materials, PPG reviews the environmental, health, and safety impacts of these materials during product design to help:
- protect the health and safety of PPG employees
- design products that comply with applicable regulations
- ensure that our products are manufactured, stored, and transported in a safe and environmentally responsible fashion
- inform PPG customers regarding the safe use and disposal of products
PPG’s Product Introduction Process is reviewed and revised to respond to changing and emerging global requirements.
