Performance and Learning Process
The PPG Performance and Learning Process (P&LP) is our primary tool for establishing performance plans and continuously developing the capabilities of our employees. By focusing on business deliverables (the “what” of your job), PPG success factors (the “how” of your job), and your developmental action plan (the focus for your development and growth), you will create a roadmap with your supervisor that will help you focus on the “right” things. The “right” things are those critical to both the organization and you.

The Learning Connection
The Learning Connection is PPG’s internal web site for a wide variety of development options and resources. From creating your annual P&LP, to identifying skill development options, to accessing career management tools, The Learning Connection provides a multitude of useful resources.

Online and Classroom Learning
Thousands of employees have participated in both classroom and e-learning opportunities over the past year. Topics range from product training to environmental, health, and safety, to leadership and ethics.

360 Degree Feedback
Our feedback program allows your teammates, peers, managers, and customers to provide you with feedback on all aspects of your performance. From this input, you can determine your strengths and opportunities for growth to help you create a customized development plan.

Educational Assistance
Our educational assistance program provides an opportunity for eligible full-time active employees to further their education. PPG pays a percentage of eligible costs for tuition and required text books for eligible employees.
