Semco® Packaging & Application Systems introduces a "green" solution for DEK ProFlow™ cassette users in the lead-free solder paste market
To meet the increasing demands of the electronics industry for lead-free soldering materials, Semco has responded to requests from solder paste formulators to provide a clear visual guide to enable end users to identify when lead-free solder paste is packaged in a ProFlow™ cassette.
As the industry moves rapidly from lead containing to lead-free solder paste, it is essential that the two types of paste are easily identified.
The traditional ProFlow™ cassette is injection molded in black. The alternative product has a green cap and a green felt diamond on the piston.
