PPG Architectural Glass Celebrates Duranar Coatings 40th Anniversary in Shanghai
October 18, 2007
SHANGHAI: On the 18th of October 2007, PPG DURANAR® coatings celebrated its 40th birthday. This grand happening took place at Le Royal Meridien Hotel in Shanghai. Approximately 130 guests attended the seminar and celebration dinner, including those from the government, organizations, line leaders, experts, customers and PPG executives.
Attendees in this celebration unanimously appreciated Duranar coatings and its contribution to the development of relevant coatings. As the first company to bring aluminum fluorocarbon paints in to the China market, PPG’s Duranar coatings currently protect and beautify many notable buildings in China, including the country’s tallest building, the Shanghai World Finance Center. Duranar coatings have earned worldwide fame and will continue to stand for high quality metal coatings.
Performance Glazings China Marketing Manager, Pat Athey, spoke at the event discussing PPG’s architectural glass. Her discussion focused on China’s Climate Code and the many glazing solutions PPG can offer, including Solarban® 60, Sungate® 100 and Sungate® 500 low-e glasses. |
