PPG Chopped Strands
Chopped strands are used primarily to reinforce thermoplastic and thermoset resins for end uses such as
automobile panels and under-the-hood parts, lawn and garden appliances, electrical equipment, headlamp
settings, and home appliances. Chopped strands are made by chopping continuous dry or wet strands in
3-6 millimeter lengths depending on the type of strand. Other chopped lengths could be possible after
consultation.。
