PPG Aerospace Suzhou Acquired CAAC Certificate for Windshield Repair

PPG Aerospace Transparency has set up Windshield Repair Center at ASC-China ---PPG Aerospace Suzhou aiming at better service to China airline companies. The center has the capability of assembly overhaul and repair of framed windows strictly in accordance with the requirements of CCAR/FAR145. The center acquired CAAC Certificate in November, 2007 (Cert. No. D.200092).

The Windshield Repair Center is located at PPG Aerospace Suzhou with an area of 5,000 sq. feet. The workshop is controlled by central air-condition with 6 ergonomic movable lifting workstations which are equipped with supply of air and electricity. All work is performed by experienced CAAC licensed senior technicians. Adequate inventory and excellent operation in compliance with applicable CAAC regulations will provide full support to meet the needs of China Airline companies.

This is the first Windshield Repair Center of PPG Aerospace Transparency launched outside of USA, which offers convenience and time saving for airline customers in China. Complicated procedures for maintenance will be simplified and turn times reduced from 4 months to 15—30 days. The center in operation has not only developed business scope of PPG Aerospace Suzhou but also expands her capabilities in products and service, further more it will contribute more reliable and effective service for China’s ever growing aviation industry.
