Air China and Shanghai Airline Joins Star Alliance

—Logo adopted PPG Aerospace Coatings

The launching Ceremony of Air China and Shanghai Airline joining Star Alliance was held at Beijing Great Hall of People on Dec. 12, 2007. At 9:00 in the morning, 2 sets of airplanes carrying Star Alliance Logo with PPG coatings from Air China and Shanghai Airline took off from Shanghai Pudong International Airport to Beijing. It stands for another mile stone for China civil aviation formally affiliated itself with International Aviation Alliance. PPG is one of the sponsors of this event.
