Case Three:Help Graduates Step out from College |

 March 28th, 2008, Ms. Cathy Yan, General Manager of PPG Government Affairs and Business Development Asia Pacific, was invited by Nankai University to give the employment guide to the students. About 100 books were donated as well by PPG to the poor students. As the MBA of Nan Kai University, Cathy shared many experience of occupation development through plenty of stories, games and interactions, so that many success factors were impregnated into students' mind. More than 200 students from Nan Kai and even other colleges joined the colloquia. They have shown the high and deepen reaction and very much enjoyed the communication with PPG guests.

On May 29th, at the invitation of the student union of Tianjin University, Cathy Yan, director of government affairs & business development, China, Nina Wang, China HR Director, Grace Zhou, HR and Administration manager of Tianjin, Hunter Lee, China PR manager and Mark Zhang, China EHS manager came to the campus of Tianjin university and attended the workshop "Career Encyclopedia – Approaching Famous Company: PPG, Fortune 500 Company”, to Tianjin University." The leaders of the student union of Tianjin University said after the communication: "it's rare for so many senior officials from the company to attend such workshop together with the students and it is very important for us. The students felt it was very useful for them. Moreover, they hope to get more opportunities to communicate with companies such as PPG in the future." |
